It Takes a (Little) Village!

Each month during the school year, The Saybrook at Haddam’s Safe Harbor Memory Care community opens its doors to an energetic band of happy, smiling faces belonging to children from the Little Village Preschool in nearby Moodus, Conn.  These children eagerly rush off their bus and come into our “neighborhood” to listen to stories, sing songs and help us with craft projects.  It is a true joy to hear their little voices and watch their little hands hard at work. The Saybrook at Haddam and Safe Harbor Memory Care: Two Bright Spots in a Tough Economy

As state and national economic news continues to follow the path of a rollercoaster, The Saybrook at Haddam has managed to carve out a steady and reliable performance. The 108-apartment, independent retirement and assisted living community has held an occupancy rate close to 95 percent for several years (even reaching 100 percent in 2014), and its newly expanded memory care unit, Safe Harbor, has become one of the region’s most sought after solutions for those suffering from Alzheimer’s, dementia or other memory-related disorders. Popular Retirement and Assisted Living Community Hosts Open House for Families, Neighbors, Leaders

As a way of showcasing the new expansion and success in retirement, assisted living and memory care services, The Saybrook at Haddam held two open house events for business leaders, families and other community members.
